- Katniss and Peeta don’t have time to react to the man's death. They are pulled of the platform and into the Justice Building.
- Haymitch drags Katniss and Peeta behind him to the top room of the Justice Building. To talk in safety.
- Katniss explains that there is an uprising in a few districts. She tells them about the meeting with President Snow and how if she doesn’t continue to be madly in love with Peeta, her family and Gale’s family will be horribly punished.
- They have to meet their group again, to get ready for a dinner, and put on smiles and costumes on for the cameras.
- Katniss thinks things are never going to get better. The districts they visit, it looks like they are starting to rebel as well. Pretending to be in love won't stop it anymore.
- The visits to Districts 1 and 2 are really depressing and pressuring.
- When Victors Tour gets to the Capitol, Katniss has the idea that he asks her to marry him. That is one step to get out of the ‘claws’ of the Capitol.
- President Snow is there for the engagement; but Katniss knows he isn’t convinced with their act of love.
